Be Part of the Miracle Today.
On Giving Tuesday, people around the world choose to make an impact through generosity. By donating to In the Middle of a Miracle, you’re directly supporting families facing childhood cancer. Your gift helps us provide comfort, hope, and connection through thoughtful care packages, hospital events, scholarships, and programs designed to support children and teens and give families strength during an overwhelming season. A few of our goals are listed below.

Our Teen Board has made an incredible impact this year. From spreading awareness for childhood cancer across their schools and communities to helping curate thoughtful gifts for holidays and special events, they’ve shown what it truly means to serve with heart. Their dedication has brought joy to kids in treatment, and their efforts continue to strengthen our mission in the most meaningful ways.

Our Philanthropy Week in Stillwater was a huge success! In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month this September, we hosted benefits, activities, and awareness events every single day and our community showed up in such a big way. Thanks to the generosity and involvement of students, families, and local supporters, we raised over $9,000 to directly support children and teens battling cancer through In the Middle of a Miracle. We’re so grateful for everyone who helped make this week meaningful and impactful.

Halloween at the hospital was truly special this year. A few of our dedicated volunteers and Teen Board members visited the hospital to hand-deliver ITMOAM Halloween goodie bags, each one thoughtfully created by our Teen Board, to kids and teens who weren’t able to go out and trick-or-treat. Their visits brought joy, comfort, and a sense of normalcy to families spending the holiday in the hospital. We’re so grateful for everyone who helped make sure these patients still felt celebrated and included on such a fun day.

We’re honored that In the Middle of a Miracle was featured in Engage Magazine by OSU’s Spears School of Business! The article shares our founder Brooklyn’s story, how her journey inspired the nonprofit, and the impact our teen board and community have made in raising awareness for childhood cancer.
