Picklebowl

We kicked off the year with our first-ever Picklebowl at Chicken N Pickle OKC, partnered with our friends at Bondi Bowls. The night was filled with pickleball on the indoor courts, raffles, delicious food, and lots of laughter. What made it so special wasn’t just the fun, but seeing people come together for a cause close to our hearts.

Valentine’s Gift Grams

Our Teen Board worked hard to hand-make Valentine’s grams packed with treats, goodies, and keepsakes. Each one was crafted with love and care, reminding patients and families that they are thought of and cherished. This was truly “teens serving teens” in action, and it showed just how powerful kindness can be in brightening someone’s day.

Literacy Program Launch

One of our biggest milestones came this spring when we launched our literacy program with Pi Phi and Read > Lead > Achieve. Together, we collected over 500 brand-new books for children and families at the hospital. These weren’t just books—they were stories, escapes, and moments of comfort that will now live with kids going through hard times.

Slime Drive

At the special request of patients, we held our first Slime Drive, collecting hundreds of items to create slime kits. Our volunteers and Teen Board worked together to assemble hundreds of kits, which were delivered to the hospital and enjoyed immediately. This project was a reminder that even something simple, like slime, can bring joy, comfort, and a sense of normalcy to kids in treatment.

Scholarship Awards & Engage Feature

This summer, we honored five incredible scholarship recipients who prove that a diagnosis does not define your future. Meeting them in person and hearing their dreams was inspiring—and then, in early June, ITMOAM was featured in Engage @ Spears magazine at OSU. The article highlighted our teen-led mission and growing impact across the state

Book Drop-off

After weeks of organizing, labeling, and writing handwritten notes, the donated books were finally delivered to the hospital. Each one carried a personal letter written by a Pi Phi member to remind families that they are not alone. Handing these off to the Child Life Therapists for distribution was such a meaningful full-circle moment.
